The Largest and Most Significant ICT & Electronics Events in Vietnam
|
As the largest and most significant ICT and Electronics
events in Vietnam, Vietnam International Communications Summit &
Expo 2009 ("Vietnam Comm 2009") / International Exhibition on
Electronics Products in Vietnam 2009 ("Vietnam Electronics 2009") will
be staged in the Vietnam Exhibition & Fair Centre, Hanoi during
November 18-21, 2009. In 2008, the IT and Telecom businesses
in Vietnam achieved a high revenue of USD 5.4 billion, a 38% increase
over 2007. With the expecting 3G licenses in 2009, Vietnam is the
Telecom market with expected turnover of USD 6 to 7 billion in 2010.
The numbers of mobile subscribers and internet users in Vietnam were
increased to 80 millions and 20.7 millions respectively in 2008. The
6.23% increase in GDP, the strong FDI of USD 64 billion and the
outstanding import/ export growth also contributed to the fast growing
economy and the urge for quicker adoption of more advanced
communication technologies and electrical/ electronics equipment in
Vietnam. All these best prove the tremendous business development
opportunities in Telecom, IT, Electronics and related industries in
Vietnam. To
grab these golden opportunities, Vietnam Comm/ Vietnam Electronics 2009

2008, with an exhibition area of over 6,000 sqm, attracted 187
